Material Sustainability

In the past, being eco-conscious probably wasn’t at the fore-font of many couples’ minds for their big day, but now things are changing fast. There has been a boom in planet-friendly wedding stationery in the last few years, which is so brilliant - essentially people don’t want to be wasteful, and this is completely achievable.

Read on to find out how I keep my business sustainable:

M A T E R I A L S

I choose biodegradable, recycled, or recyclable materials for the majority of items (anything that isn’t, I encourage keeping as a memory, reusing or lending out).

Biodegradable
Plantable - white rustic | Plantable - ivory lux | Jute twine | Vellum (aka translucent paper)

Recycled
Cotton rag paper | Natural fleck card | Vellum | Petal-infused card | Kraft brown envelopes

Recyclable
Nettuno card

Birch Plywood + Blackboards
The wood I use is from a trusted local supplier and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which is an international organisation that promotes responsible management of the world's forests via timber certification.

Vegan Wax Seals
These beautiful additions to your envelopes unfortunately cannot be recycled, but are lovely to reuse or keep.

P A C K A G I N G

I proactively source packing materials from small, local suppliers who share my ethos on sustainability. Everything from the box to the plastic-free tape is recyclable, so be sure to pop everything in the recycling bin.

If on the very odd occasion there is bubble wrap, please know this has been reused from another delivery (please reuse it too!).

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.
